EYEBROWS

Eyebrows

Microblading, powder brows, and combination brows are all techniques used in semi-permanent makeup for enhancing the appearance of eyebrows.

Microblading

Microblading is a manual technique that involves using a small, handheld tool with fine needles to create thin, hair-like strokes in the skin. Pigment is implanted into the upper layers of the skin to simulate the look of natural hair. This method is popular for achieving a realistic and natural-looking eyebrow appearance.

Microblading and shading

Microblading and shading are two eyebrow enhancement techniques often combined for a more defined and natural look. Microblading involves using a manual tool to create hair-like strokes by depositing pigment into the skin, mimicking the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs. Shading, on the other hand, involves adding a soft background of color to the brows, enhancing their density and depth. Combining microblading and shading can result in a fuller, more defined eyebrow appearance with a mix of realistic hair strokes and a subtle shading effect.

Powder Brows

Powder brows, also known as ombre brows, involve a shading technique that results in a softer, more powdered look. Instead of creating individual hair strokes like in microblading, a gradual shading effect is achieved, resembling the appearance of filled-in eyebrows using makeup powder. This technique is suitable for those who prefer a more defined and filled-in look.

Combination Brows

Combination brows combine both microblading and powder shading techniques. This method is used to create a more textured and multidimensional appearance. The front portion of the eyebrows may be microbladed to mimic natural hair, while the rest is shaded for a fuller and defined look. Combination brows offer the best of both worlds, providing a balance between the realism of microblading and the softness of powder brows.

Color correction

In eyebrows colour correction, the process aims to adjust the existing pigment to achieve a more desirable shade. If the eyebrows have a cool tone like (grey, green, purple and blue)the correction involves introducing a warmer pigment which neutralises the unwanted cool tones. Conversely, if the existing color is too warm like (red, orange and pink) we use a cool pigment to cancel out the warm tones and give it a nice brown colour. The correction process typically involves a skilled PMU artist assessing your skin undertones, hair color, and desired outcome to create a customized solution. Multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve the desired result, and the colour may evolve during the healing process.
