By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment, package or course, or enrolling on a training course with Zinabeauty Clinic & Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the applicable terms and conditions below.
Booking Policy
1Deposit Policy
A £30 deposit is required to secure most treatment appointments unless a different deposit amount is stated at the time of booking.
Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment.
Your appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
Deposits are used to reserve your appointment time exclusively for you. Where you cancel late, fail to attend or otherwise breach the cancellation terms below, Zinabeauty may retain the deposit to the extent permitted by law and where it reasonably reflects the loss resulting from the reserved appointment.
Deposits cannot normally be transferred to another person.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
2Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred once to a new appointment, subject to availability.
Only one reschedule is permitted against the original deposit.
If you:
- cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice;
- fail to attend your appointment;
- attempt to reschedule the same booking more than once; or
- arrive too late for the treatment to be carried out safely or within the remaining appointment time,
your deposit may be forfeited in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer law. A new deposit will be required before another appointment can be booked.
We ask clients to respect this policy because appointment times are reserved specifically for each client and late cancellations can leave us unable to offer that time to somebody else.
3Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
We understand that unexpected circumstances happen and will always try to accommodate you where reasonably possible.
However, if you arrive 15 minutes or more late, we may need to shorten, modify or cancel your treatment depending on the treatment being performed and the time remaining.
If there is insufficient time to perform your treatment safely and professionally, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit may be forfeited, subject to applicable consumer law.
A new deposit may then be required to secure another appointment.
Our appointments are frequently booked back-to-back, so extending one appointment can unfairly delay every client afterwards.
4No-Show Policy
Failure to attend an appointment without notifying Zinabeauty will be treated as a no-show.
The deposit may be retained in accordance with this policy, and a new deposit will be required before another appointment is confirmed.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in Zinabeauty declining future bookings or requiring payment in full in advance.
Treatments
5Consultations & Medical Information
Clients must provide complete, truthful and up-to-date information about their medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, previous treatments, skin conditions and any other information that may affect treatment suitability or safety.
You must inform Zinabeauty of any changes to your health, medication or circumstances before each treatment.
Zinabeauty reserves the right to postpone, modify or decline a treatment where the practitioner reasonably believes that proceeding would be inappropriate or unsafe.
Where Zinabeauty determines before treatment that a service cannot safely or appropriately be provided, any payment or deposit will be dealt with fairly, in accordance with your statutory rights and the circumstances of the booking. Where you are not at fault, we will not simply retain your prepayment.
6Patch Tests
Certain treatments require a consultation and/or patch test before treatment.
Where required, no treatment will be performed until the appropriate patch-test period has passed and the practitioner is satisfied that treatment can proceed.
A successful patch test does not guarantee that a reaction cannot occur during or after subsequent treatment.
Clients must follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by Zinabeauty.
7Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is intended to achieve hair reduction. Individual results vary and permanent complete hair removal cannot be guaranteed.
The number of sessions required varies depending on factors including hair colour and thickness, treatment area, skin type, hormones, medical conditions, medication and individual response.
Clients must follow all preparation and aftercare instructions, including advice regarding shaving, sun exposure, tanning products and other hair-removal methods.
Failure to follow these instructions may mean treatment needs to be postponed for safety reasons.
8Laser Tattoo Removal
Results from laser tattoo removal vary significantly between individuals and tattoos.
The number of sessions required cannot be guaranteed and will depend on factors including tattoo colour, ink composition, depth, density, location, age, previous treatment, skin type and individual healing response.
Complete tattoo removal cannot be guaranteed.
Clients acknowledge that temporary or permanent skin changes and other recognised treatment risks may occur. These will be discussed during consultation and informed consent must be obtained before treatment.
9Electrolysis
Electrolysis results and treatment duration vary between individuals.
Multiple sessions may be required, and Zinabeauty cannot guarantee a specific number of treatments or timeframe.
Clients must follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided.
10Aesthetic & Facial Treatments
Results from facials, OxyGeneo and other skin/aesthetic treatments vary between clients.
Photographs, social-media content and before-and-after examples represent individual client experiences and do not guarantee that another client will achieve identical results.
11Treatment Results
No treatment offered by Zinabeauty carries a guarantee of a particular cosmetic outcome unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Results depend on numerous individual factors.
Where appropriate, clients will be informed of expected outcomes, risks, limitations and alternative options before consenting to treatment.
Dissatisfaction with an outcome that falls within the explained limitations or normal treatment response does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.
This does not limit your legal rights where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
12Courses & Treatment Packages
Prepaid treatment courses and packages are for the named client only unless Zinabeauty expressly agrees otherwise.
Courses cannot normally be shared or transferred.
Sessions must be used within any validity period clearly communicated when the package is purchased.
Appointments booked using a package remain subject to the same cancellation, rescheduling and late-arrival policies.
A missed or late-cancelled prepaid session may be treated as used where permitted by law and where this reasonably reflects Zinabeauty’s loss from the reserved appointment.
Refund requests for unused package sessions will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the purchase. We do not apply a blanket “no refunds under any circumstances” rule.
13Promotions & Discounts
Promotional offers are subject to their stated start/end dates and eligibility conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions and discount codes cannot be combined with another promotion.
Zinabeauty may withdraw or amend future promotional offers at any time, but this will not remove rights already acquired under a completed booking or purchase.
14Prices & Payments
Prices are those displayed or communicated at the time of booking, subject to any obvious error.
Payment is due in full when requested and normally no later than completion of treatment unless a different arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Zinabeauty may change its prices for future bookings, but an increase will not retrospectively change the agreed price of an existing confirmed booking unless permitted by law and agreed with the client.
15Refunds
Treatments that have already been properly provided are generally not refundable simply because a client changes their mind or expected a different cosmetic result within the limitations explained before treatment.
However, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts rights that clients have under UK consumer law.
Any refund request will therefore be assessed individually, including whether treatment has been provided, whether Zinabeauty incurred costs, and whether Zinabeauty was unable to provide the agreed service.
16Children & Age Restrictions
Certain treatments are subject to age restrictions and may not be suitable or available to clients under 18.
Zinabeauty reserves the right to request proof of age and to decline any treatment where age, consent, safeguarding or treatment suitability requirements are not satisfied.
17Client Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
Zinabeauty is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for clients, students and staff.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, aggressive or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated.
Zinabeauty may refuse or discontinue service where reasonably necessary to protect staff, students, clients or the safe operation of the clinic.
Serious misconduct may result in future bookings being refused.
18Photography & Social Media
Clinical photographs may be recommended for treatment records and monitoring progress.
Images will not be used for marketing, social media or promotional purposes without the appropriate permission/consent.
Where marketing consent is optional, declining it will not affect your treatment.
Consent for promotional use may be managed separately from consent to treatment.
19Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while attending Zinabeauty.
Please avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to appointments.
Nothing in this provision excludes liability where Zinabeauty is legally responsible for a loss.
Zinabeauty Academy
20Training Course Bookings
A training-course place is not confirmed until the required deposit or course payment has been received.
The applicable deposit, balance due date, cancellation conditions and course requirements will be communicated before enrolment.
Students are responsible for ensuring that they meet any stated prerequisites before booking.
21Training Course Cancellations
Training-course deposits and cancellation charges will be handled in accordance with the cancellation terms communicated at purchase and applicable consumer law.
Where a student cancels, Zinabeauty may retain an amount that reasonably reflects losses arising from that cancellation where legally permitted.
If Zinabeauty has to cancel a course and cannot provide a suitable alternative, affected payments will be refunded as required by law.
22Course Attendance
Students must attend the required training and practical elements, arrive on time and comply with all health, safety and professional conduct requirements.
Certificates will only be issued where the relevant attendance, practical work, assessments and other course requirements have been satisfactorily completed.
Payment alone does not guarantee certification.
23Training Materials
Training manuals, course materials, photographs, videos, presentations and other educational content supplied by Zinabeauty remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
Students must not reproduce, sell, upload, distribute or use Zinabeauty’s protected training materials to create or deliver their own training courses without written permission, except where the law permits such use.
24Models for Practical Training
Where students are required to provide their own models, this will be communicated before the course.
Models must meet the applicable treatment eligibility requirements and complete any required consultation, consent or patch testing.
Zinabeauty may refuse to treat a model where treatment would be unsafe or inappropriate.
25Qualifications & Insurance
Students are responsible for checking, before purchasing a course, whether a Zinabeauty qualification or certificate satisfies the requirements of their chosen insurer, employer, licensing authority, local authority or other professional body.
Completion of a course does not by itself guarantee insurance, employment, licensing, business success or any particular income.
